October 2011 - A Hot, New Product: Flagro Tent Heaters
The SEC Group and Flagro USA are pleased to announce the addition of Flagro’s superior heating and air handling products to the SEC Group’s family of products. Under the agreement between the two companies, the SEC Group will represent and provide additional distribution of Flagro box heaters for Party and Special Event customers in the western US, specifically in the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and Arizona.

June 2011 – Completion of Custom Mainstage Tent Structure for Bard on the Beach
Culminating a year plus design and production effort, The SEC Group is pleased to announce the completion of the new custom mainstage fabric structure for Bard on the Beach, Canada's oldest non-profit Shakespeare Festival in Vancouver, BC.
Bard on the Beach requested design and manufacturing services for a new structure that is installed and removed at the beginning and end of every festival season to utilize as its main stage venue for the 2011 festival season and beyond. The structure needed to be not only larger than the previous structure to accommodate significantly more spectators, it also needed to be unique and customized to reflect the character and identity of the company. Many design features were requested and incorporated into the design to create the 'Bard Experience', meaning the creation of an environment specifically suited to the production of Shakespeare's works that provided a dynamic workspace for Bard's directors and actors. 2010 Tent School Scheduled
The SEC Group is pleased to announce that it has scheduled its 2010 Tent School for December 7th and 8th. Co-sponsored by Olympic Tent and Baytex USA, day 1 of the school will focus on understanding the codes that apply to tenting, safe anchoring and tent installation techniques that will help install crews work safer and more efficiently. Day 2 will focus on tent repair and maintenance, including proper techniques and hands-on learning stations. Day 2 also includes learning how to use and install tent accessories such as tent liners, door systems, wall systems, lighting, gutters, and HVAC. This event will be held entirely indoors, so come rain or shine, please plan on joining us in Wilsonville, OR for this great learning experience. A ‘Force’ to be Reckoned With
The SEC Group is pleased to announce the latest addition the Maximizer line of tenting tools, the ‘Force’ Hydraulic Stake Puller.
The “Force” stake puller has been designed by the SEC Group to increase your stake-pulling efficiency and save you time and money. This unique piece of equipment will reduce labor time and effort by 70-80% and will easily remove the toughest tent stake.
One person can maneuver and operate this machine with ease because of its 14” never-flat tires. The frame is constructed of high-quality, heavy duty square steel tubing and is powder coated for durability and long-life.
The powerful pump provides 3000 psi to the 2 1/2” hydraulic bore cylinder, producing a pulling force in excess of 10,000 lbs. The stake puller Force even does an excellent job of removing stakes from asphalt without buckling the surface.

Alumitech Doors for Tents and Fabric Structures
This new double-door system, designed and produced by the SEC Group for use in tents and other fabric structures, features an all aluminum frame, matching aluminum hardware and expansive, tempered glass panels for a beautifully upgraded appearance to your tent entrance. Originally designed for use with the Maximizer glass-wall and hard-wall system, these doors can now be ordered as a stand-alone door system to fit practically any fabric structure. This door system was used extensively for several high-end venues at the 2010 Winter Olympics, as well as in the Century Center Convention Center in South Bend, IL at the recent TRAM show, and proved its reliability in high-traffic entryways. Matching transoms are available when used with the Maximizer wall system. The door system ships complete in its own crate for easy transportation and storage to and from event venues.
Introducing Dura-Trac Flooring Systems
